It’s rough going at first, but it’s so ridiculously strong by the endgame. I solo’ed the Queen of the Blackmarsh (a tough Awakening boss) with this combo quite easily, then eventually played Golems of Amgarrak and took out the Harvester on Nightmare (an achievement that gives you an object worth nearly 400 sovereigns to sell in Origins) in around a minute and a half.īut if you want to taste the OP-ness as a warrior, go archer. ![]() DW warriors (Tabris or Brosca origin recommended for RP purposes and because you have an automatic DW point) with champion/berserker in origins who have Starfang in one hand and the Veshialle in another are great (and more than enough to beat the Archdemon in your sleep on Nightmare), but when combined with the Awakening Spirit Warrior spec, become invulnerable. Some phenomenal equipment there as well as a great specialisation to make an invulnerable tank - Spirit Warrior. The real beauty of playing an OP warrior is only very accessible in Awakening (after the conclusion of Origins itself) IMO. Otherwise, the stamina loss wasn’t worth it for me, but I put no additional points into willpower in that playthrough. It can be, but it took me until Awakening to really feel the difference with Berserker turned on.
